Similar to Market Share Certificates, Bump-Up Certificates are a termed Savings Account designed to yeild higher rates for Credit Union members. Unlike a Market Share Certificate, Bump-Up Certificates give members the added bonus to "Bump-Up" to a higher rate during the term. This account offers members 18-month and 48-month terms to choose from to deposit their money.

Features:  ·        No monthly services charges. ·        At any point, prior to maturity the member is able to do a one-time "Bump-Up" to a higher yeilding rate. ·        High yeilding dividend rate compared to Regular Savings Account.   ·        Certificate funds may be pledged as collateral security for any Credit Union Loan.

Must maintain $5 in Regular Share Account. Minimum deposit to and the minimum daily balance required for the Certificate Account is $2,500. If the certificate is closed & funds are withdrawn prior to maturity date, 180 days of earned dividends will be deducted. (Member's initial deposit/principle will not be affected at any point for early withdrawal.) The Bump-Up option may be excercised only one time during the initial term term of the certificate. After the account is opened, the member may not make deposits into the account until the maturity date on the Certificate. Certificates do not renew automatically. members will receive a maturity notice 45 days prior to maturity. Upon maturity all funds will be transferred to member's Regular Share Account, unless the member notifies the Credit Union to transfer the funds to a new certificate.

Dividends are paid monthly and may be applied to the Market Share Certificate balance of transferred to the member's Regular Share Account. Dividend rates may change daily.
